I attended a symposium at Annai Veilankani College of Engineering in Pottalkulam. Here's a detailed account of my experience:

- Arrival Time: 10:00 AM
- Registration: Received a folder containing a notepad, pen, and meal vouchers (cost: ₹200))
Schedule
- 10:00 AM - Arrival and registration
- Introduction and snacks in the auditorium
- 11:30 AM - Quiz competition
- 1:30 PM - Lunch at the college canteen
- 3:30 PM - Departure
Quiz Competition
The quiz covered basic computer knowledge and intermediate-level cloud computing topics. Unfortunately, I placed 7th in the competition. There were suspicions of favoritism towards certain students during the quiz.
Overall Experience
The symposium fell short of my expectations. Some faculty members and students were not particularly welcoming. However, visiting another college and experiencing their facilities was valuable.
Reflections
- Positive: Gained exposure to a different college environment
- Negative: Perceived unfairness in the quiz competition
- Mixed: Despite some disappointments, it was an educational experience
